Slotin's Folk Fest in Atlanta Ga.

Well…hey it’s that time of the year again! Folk Fest Show in Atlanta. Where did the time go? Seems like summer just started and here it is August already. We’ve had our fair share of the heat in Northern Indiana and we look forward to some of that fine Southern heat in Georgia.
George is busy painting and we are ready to escape Indiana and go south.
We look forward to seeing our folk art collector friends and our art friends. We are just sorry that we are so far away that it only happens once a year.

MUST DO LIST!
We have lost some of our older artists, Rev Howard Finster, RA Miller, Jimmie Lee Suddeth and of course our dear friend Danny “Bucketman” Hoskins. These guys were the foundation blocks of what we know as folk art today. Get to know the current creators who are trying to fill those shoes. Start collecting now….we are so glad we did so many years ago. We have a piece of each of these artists in our home and hearts. Just looking at folk art makes you happy!
Let’s meet up in Georgia August 20-21-22!! We’re ready!!

Sheila and George, sorry I'm going to miss you guys at folkfest this year. I severely broke my ankle May 30. I have not been able to put weight on it and have been stuck in the bed and on the the couch since then. Your Friend, Jimmy W.
