Hope you all are doing just fine!
I apologize for the delay in posts but am anxious to get back to work.
George has been really busy creating artwork and doing custom work for folks. Unfortunately, I can’t post pictures to the website like administation told me but where there’s a will there’s a way…or as George’s old pappy use to say….”Where there’s a will, there’s a crooked lawyer to break it!”
So, I am sending you to Facebook…Possum County Folk Art Gallery, where I can post pictures. Here’s the link: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Possum-County-Folk-Art-Gallery/249229431889
You will find a really neat shadowbox of FOUR great bluesmen we lost in 2011. Pinetop Perkins, Honeyboy Edwards, Willie Smith and Hubert Sumlin. Willie was a close, personal friend of ours, along with his son Kenny “Beetie Eyes” Smith. Losing Willie was hard on Bob Stroeger who had played with him for many years since their days with the Muddy Waters band.
Also, I’ve put up a picture of Bluesman Joe Louis from England. Joe contacted us and said he’d be doing some gigs in California. He had seen our artwork and wondered if we’d do something special for him. So, George did a great guitar!! Be sure and check it out…you’ll see it before Joe does…it’s IN THE MAIL!!!
Let me know what you think about the new stuff and what’s going on in your neck of the woods!
Sheila
