 of Possum County™

Howdy Everyone!

Let me get right to it and tell you all what we’ve been up to.

In December we negotiated a deal to create and operate a tourist attraction
called: Poor Ol' George's™ FUN SPOT
in nearby Shipshewana, Indiana. Located in the heart of the 3rd largest Amish settlement in America.

Thousands of people attend this small community each week through the summer.

Many of you know of Shipshe as having one of the largest Flea Markets around. It is only open on Tuesday and Wednesday plus the 3 summer holidays.…the rest of the week it returns to a quite community of about 1,000 residents. But there are lots of hotels and motels nearby.

It's a tourist destination with a water park, a car museum housing the largest collection of Hudson cars anywhere. There is a Bulk Foods store that is out of this world! A meat processing store (fresh meat is available for your freezer), the old cheese factory and hundreds of stores and boutiques that make this a once in a life time treat.

Eat at The Blue Gate Restaurant or the Essenhaus (which is the largest restaurant in Indiana). Both establishments feature those great Amish recipes made from scratch and you don’t leave hungry! Their gift shops are wonderful.

Of course, the main attraction to the area is one of the largest Amish settlements in America. Go back in time and see how folks use to live, farm, work and play!! Mingle with the culture!

George will soon prepre a link below for our FUN SPOT! located in the center of the flea market. For a nominal fee of $1.00 you can see an outhouse museum with over 60 replica outhouses, take your picture with a life size painting of the tallest man in the world..Robert Wadlow (8'-11"). It's a FOLK ART ENVIRONMENT with unique bottle cap sculptures of fish, birds, snakes, etc.  There's tons of George's folk art and literally hundreds of funny signs featuring George's weird sense of humor....we bill it as "the product of a warped mind". You MUST see Elvis' folk art throne trimmed with thousands of bottle caps

COME and SEE US IF YOU CAN!!!

God Bless ya’ all!
